Your challenges

  • Month end closing and reporting:
  • Analyze material and labor/cost center spending accounts, perform actual to budget and prior year variance comparison and explanation for full P&L including PPV, work order variances, labor & recovery, inventory adjustment, cost center expenses etc.;
  • Prepare journal entries when needed and complete monthly financial reporting packages for management review;
  • Upload monthly financial data (P&L and BS) into Oracle/Hyperion database
  • Use Oracle Smart View reports for internal reporting and assist with preparation of management review material
  • Inventory control and valuation:
  • Regular inventory reconciliation and review of inventory ledger accounts including WIP, Raw material, FG account, and inventory movements
  • Prepare Excess and Obsolete inventory reserve calculation for management review
  • Work with operation teams on company’s cycle count program to improve inventory accuracy and act as the key liaison for annual physical inventory
  • Standard cost maintenance:
  • Maintain standard cost in ERP system and ensure accuracy of all cost components:
  • Participate in annual standard cost update
  • Cost price calculation support per Engineering Change Order process request
  • Financial planning and analysis:
  • Assist with annual forecast and budget preparation and upload, prepare reports/analysis for management review;
  • Work within cross-functional projects for continuous improvement initiatives and new product launch as needed
  • Support of external audit requirement as needed

Your expertise

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
