Your challenges

  • Lead and manage the Service organization for Eppendorf’s Americas Market Region
  • Develop and enable a lean, efficient, and effective organization; capable of consistently meeting or exceeding both internal and external expectations
  • Increase market share and drive profitable growth
  • Define and maintain a differentiated service experience, consistent with the Eppendorf brand
  • Drive the transformation to manage Service as a product, and as an integral part of our Customers relationship with the Eppendorf brand
  • Manage Eppendorf’s service business in alignment with the go-to-market strategy for the respective countries
  • Increase service revenue and profit by managing the Service product portfolio as well as transforming the existing reactive business into a more proactive one
  • Manage and direct the activities of field service engineers and support personnel to provide required support for installations, calibrations, repairs, training, etc.

Your expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a service organization
  • Strong knowledge of life science industry (competition, service products & business models, customer segments) considered ideal
  • Proven leadership qualities
  • Experience in business relevant financial, HR and administrative tasks; understanding of financial key data
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen
  • Ability to analyze and operate cross functionally throughout the organization
