Your challenges

  • Ensure trouble-free and high-performance operation of all network components and systems
  • Management of user HW and SW (support purchasing, installation and setup, ensure SW standard compliance)
  • Application/system roll-out
  • Ensure support within the global IT HelpDesk organization
  • Contact for all infrastructure related topics
  • Installation, configuration, optimization, documentation and design of
    • network components (active and passive systems, LAN/WAN components, security features)
    • the whole server technology environment and
    • desktops/laptops incl. peripheral equipment
  • Maintain and manage user accounts, user profiles and user information
  • Ensure functionality, availability and performance of all infrastructure components
  • Ensure secure operation of all systems (virus protection, firewall settings)
  • 1st and 2nd level user support
  • Project management and execution in the area of responsibility

Your expertise

  • A Bachelor Degree in computer science or related subjects
  • More than 3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure support and management functions
  • Knowledge in Microsoft environments (AD, Office, Exchange)
  • Knowledge in Network, TCPIP and Routing environments
  • Knowledge in Virtual Server environments (ideally Dell VxRail)
  • Knowledge in 1st and 2nd level support environments
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • The position is based in Malaysia but travelling to our Asia Pacific subsidiaries (Australia, China, Dubai, Japan, India, Korea, Thailand) and Germany will be expected
