- Working with the Director of eBusiness and eBusiness team to build and implement strategic initiatives to grow eCommerce sales within organization
- Execute a coordinated sales strategy to achieve market share gains and financial targets for assigned area
- Identify and build pipeline of new business opportunities and maintain a sales opportunity funnel
- Manage direct account relationships by conducting regular business reviews, exploring specific needs related to direct channel and resolving problems
- Facilitate visibility and adoption of eCommerce internally and externally
- Work with the Commercial Support Units across organizational matrix (i.e., Operational Marketing, GKAM, eBusiness, and Service) to drive cross-functional execution of goals
- Secure best practice knowledge and transport knowledge to other areas
- Implement new and manage existing contracts, eProcurement catalogs, and discounted pricing at direct accounts in assigned area
- Identify and coordinate eProcurement opportunties with eBusiness and eCommerce teams
- Develop marketing strategies for direct accounts to drive eCommerce sales within a matrix environment with Area Head of Sales, Zone Sales Director, Eppendorf Territory Manager and KAM.
- Coordinate the development of annual business plans with Director of eBusiness, Area Head of Sales and Zone Sales Director
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor eCommerce success at direct accounts
- Establish individual goals and expected levels of performance
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior level procurement and operations personnel at direct accounts
- Coordinate quarterly business reviews and support the rebate disbursement process
- Work with Customer Service and Accounts Payable to efficiently and accurately process direct orders
- Provide account feedback and analysis for Area Head of Sales and Zone Sales Director as requested
Your expertise

- Bachelor’s (4 year) degree in Life Science or Business
- 7-10 years’ experience within eProcurement, Sales or Marketing role within related industries
- Good understanding and knowledge of the B2B purchasing process and eCommerce software functionality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint) and other Microsoft Programs (Teams, Dynamics 365)
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience with business relevant financial, HR and administrative tasks; understanding of key financial data
