Your challenges

  • Define and prioritize all necessary market activities in cooperation with the respective marketing and sales functions according to strategic marketing plan
  • Responsible for the success of the respective products from market launch to global discontinuation of the products
  • Analyze the success of the product and the product quality
  • Analyze the global market with regard to the competition and the position of our own products
  • Analyze customer satisfaction metrics, and propose requirements, initiatives and enhancements to increase product suitability
  • Coordinate the global launch of new products and supporting the sales and marketing efforts on site as well as maintaining contact with users and opinion formers in relevant market segments
  • Support the Business/Innovation Manager in assessing product ideas and developing the product definition
  • Prepare decisions on quality measures, suppliers/production, logistics and service policy during product marketing, including product modifications, variants or discontinuation of products on an economic basis
  • Manage the product discontinuation process and quality improvement measures in cooperation with Service and Competence Centers
  • Support Applications and Sales for all product-relevant questions and the development of product strategies
  • Initiate and agree on suitable countermeasures for deviations from sales objectives with the Business/innovation Manager and Sales
  • Business trips up to 20 % of the time (incl. international travel)
  • Reporting directly to the Head Business Segment Bioprocess

Your expertise

  • B.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related area of study and at least 4 years of relevant laboratory experience. Candidates with M.S. or Ph.D in the above fields are preferred. Hands-on experience with automated liquid handlers and spectrophotometers. Experience with the Eppendorf epMotion software a plus.
  • Employment at Eppendorf in the United States and Canada requires vaccination against COVID-19. All new hires must be vaccinated against COVID-19, or, have a qualified medical or religious exemption, prior to the start of employment
