Develop a yearly marketing plan for the allocated products including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing and the acquisition of new customers
Participate in creating product launch campaigns and execute new products/services launches in Europe
Monitor market penetration and lead cross-functional execution at G5
Execute Regional Marketing activities according to budget with a focus on customer-, or workflow-specific segments and personas
Execute global marketing campaigns in the Market Region and proactively drive close collaboration with Global Marketing Management
Responsible for compliance with revenue plans and market share objectives of assigned product lines and its follow-up
Actively contribute in discussions around integrated marketing campaigns and channel marketing
Deliver product specific trainings to sales representatives and dealers and provide concepts for marketing and training content for dealers to effectively position Eppendorf products in the marketplace
Ensure that effective trainings, webinars, sales enablement materials are being developed
Manage regional requirements for tradeshows and events (e.g., local conferences and seminars) with Global Marketing and Marketing Realization in Europe
Provide insights and market leadership to Business Units and Global Marketing in the development of innovative products and portfolio strategies, as well as positioning and messaging concepts
Inform Global Operational Marketing and relevant stakeholders from Business Portfolio pre-launch on market- and channel-dynamics
Adapt global content and campaign frameworks and sales enablement materials according to guidelines
Ensure leads are captured from all regional marketing activities systematically, managed, and handed over to Sales
Analyze marketing effectiveness for regional marketing activities and define corresponding measures
Your expertise
Completed (Master’s or Bachelor’s) degree in Science or a Science and business combination
Several years of experience in a similar role
Longstanding commercial experience in Marketing or Sales roles ideally working with cross-cultural teams
Life Science industry experience in an international setting and in a matrix organization considered ideal
Strategic thinking and business acumen
Strong project management skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
Strong English skills both verbal and written - additional European language considered an advantage
Min. 30% travel in Europe
