Financial Incentives

Aside from fixed salaries, we also offer our employees various variable compensation packages, which differ according to division and oriented to different parameters. Extras such as capital-forming benefits, financial subsidies for special personal situations as well as Sunday, holiday and night shift bonuses are, of course, also included.
We support our employees in ensuring the best conditions for retirement via the usual state pension, but also with our company-funded, modern and attractivepension plan. Another option is converting compensation pay into retirement benefits.
Many other additional benefits like vacation pay, Christmas bonuses or discount meals at our company canteen are available as well. Eppendorf also supports Job Tickets for public transportation services where available. Each division provides the appropriate work clothing for working in production, laboratory and storage facilities.
Work and family life

To better balance your professional and personal interests, you can set your own flexible work hours (within limits). Besides our shift-work and flexible working hours models, we also offer different part-time models as well as the option to work from home in many fields.
Independent of your position in the company, paid paternity and maternity leave is a matter of course for us. Eppendorf supports re-integrating employees back into the workforce after parental leave, encouraging this step where possible with flexible work hour models.
At our location in Barkhausenweg in Hamburg, we offer year-round child care services for children between six months and six years of age. There is even a bilingual daycare center on-site, which has been arranged in cooperation with the Kinderwelt Hamburg association. Holiday care for schoolchildren is also available there.
We offer support for employees with family members in need of special care. A central contact person is on-call for competent assistance and consultation.
Our in-house international holiday exchange Eppendorf Family Network Program affords our employees' children the opportunity to explore other cultures, improve their language skills and meet new people at one of our Eppendorf facilities abroad.
Promoting health and well-being

For us, mental, physical and spiritual health and well-being go together. That's why we strive to promote our employees' health, well-being and productivity.
It all begins with a healthy and balanced diet: warm meals can be prepared or are supplied at every location. Our facilities range from kitchens for preparing food to full-fledged company canteens at our Hamburg, Leipzig and Oldenburg locations.
We take full responsibility for establishing a healthy workspace, from ergonomically-designed workspaces, informing and educating our employees to strengthening an individual's sense of self-responsibility. Medical consultations are available to all employees. Employees at many locations enjoy the benefits of in-house medical consultations by company physicians, eyesight tests and precautionary examinations like skin cancer screenings.
Eppendorf also offers a wide variety of company sports groups. Whether your thing is soccer, running track or Zumba classes, there are many ways to get in shape and spend some time with colleagues.
Last but not least, our vacation time allowance allows for a healthy work-life balance. As a rule, every employee receives 30 days of paid vacation time.
