Your challenges

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Support the design and implementation of the strategic business plan to expand customer base and support growth of specific Eppendorf products in focus
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Focus the team on building a strong utilization of CRM
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Support pricing strategy of products to meet the company financial goals while retaining market competitiveness
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Collaborate internally & externally to bring about sales operations excellence and customer centricity
  • Develops and maintains relationships with distribution partners and develops business utlizing all sales channels

Your expertise

  • Min of Bachelor Science in relevant sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology etc) or a degree in Business Management accompanied with relevant experience in life sciences
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales team lead, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Well-connected in the life science industry in Malaysia
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
