Your challenges

  • To provide timely and accurate technical service for Malaysian customers and authorized dealers
  • To deliver customer-centric service by constantly maintaining high quality and throughput while always driving improvements and improving service outcomes.
  • To establish and constantly maintain a high degree of technical knowledge pertaining to all of the service activities while striving to improve and improvise as and when needed. Satisfactory completion of all required service and skills training on an ongoing basis.
  • Adheres to service manuals, technical information and other quality documents while properly documenting work activity in the CRM. Responsible for proper care of company tools, equipment and all other assigned assets.
  • Acting as a trusted partner to our customers by understanding issues and recommending solutions that provide a positive customer experience. Responsible for the sale of service products and participates in generating cross-selling leads to sales colleagues to mutually promote sales growth.
  • Close collaboration with the entire team comprising service, sales, technical support, sales support and other Eppendorf units to share relevant information.
  • Occasionally requires extensive or overnight travel on short notice within or sometimes beyond defined territory or routine business hours to support service needs.

Your expertise

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or other related qualification.
  • 2-3 years working experience in related engineering sector preferably in service of medical or life science instruments.
  • Some basic knowledge in networking protocols and agility in learning new software and applications.
  • Positive attitude and appearance with good communication skills both written and oral.
  • Willingness to travel frequently both in state and out of state for service jobs with own vehicle.
