Your Tasks

The role “”Field Service Engineer” will be part of the EKR Service Team reporting to the Service Team Lead . This position is to perform mechanical service/maintenance and repair work for instrument assigned and satisfy customers by performing work to high level of quality in an efficient manner.

Execution of Service Plan

  • Implement service plan strategy on the customers including wholesalers
  • Execute service activities including repairing, maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustment and warranty claim.
  • Technical communication with the customers
  • Handling of installation, upgrading software, refurbishing device
  • Using of CRM software under company SOP basis
  • Selling and promoting Service Products

Performing of Customer Satisfaction and Finding of new customers

  • Receiving and Solving the Problem from the customers
  • Maintaining effort to increase the service quality
  • Training customers/dealers service products.

Development and study of Service Skill

  • Study and practice on Service manual
  • Teaching and coaching for others engineer
  • Practice on using tools, measuring devices and consumables.
  • Development of technical service skill and problem solving


  • Report to team leader & service manager about result and plan of the work
  • Service report including repairing & service product to the customers
  • Report about spare part and service revenue
  • Report daily, weekly, monthly and yearly about none-routine work.
  • Making Annual Dialog and evaluation by manager.
  • Attending the weekly service meeting and sharing information and suggesting opinion

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering Science, Electronic Engineering or related subject is considered an advantage.
  • 1 - 3 years professional experience in the mechanical engineering field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Good communication skills, problem solving skills, ability to multi-task and operate under pressure and team player
  • Able to travel when required. Valid Passport required to allow for international travel for training/meetings.
  • Based in local area such as DaeJeon, KwangJu, DaeGu, Pusan ,SuWon or other city after attend training in Seoul office. Possibility based at home-office.
  • Candidate must be able to live and work in South Korea.
