Your challenges

  • Designing, fielding, and analyzing market research initiatives, interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based upon the research findings
  • Coordinating with internal and external partners on the execution of quantitative and qualitative research
  • Provide market research data to support Global and Regional Teams to develop short-, mid- and long-term strategic concepts, i.e., Mid-Term Planning, Go-to-Market and Growth Strategies, and Marketing Plans
  • Provide customer and market feedback to Global Business Units to help with new business-, product-, systems-, or services-opportunity validation
  • Identify suitable participants for customer testing of new products under development
  • Gather, analyze, document, and interpret market research data (primary and secondary research) and report out on market trends and competitive intelligence to enable decision making by the Business Divisions and the Commercial Organization
  • Manage all steps of a research project, from survey design to storyline development
  • Tell stories through data – Interpret/translate data points into actionable and detailed visual reports and present them as convincing stories that support strategy development
  • Collaborate with your counterparts in HQ, EU, APA, and China to develop standardized market analysis
  • Identify participants for customer testing of new products by working with the Commercial team and leveraging existing data bases
  • 20% travel requirement within the Market Region and Internationally (e.g., customer visits, conferences, tradeshows, HQ meetings)

Your expertise

  • ** Employment at Eppendorf in the United States and Canada requires vaccination against COVID-19. All new hires must be vaccinated against COVID-19, or, have a qualified medical or religious exemption, prior to the start of employment**
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, ideally with a business degree
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in market research or marketing
  • Life science industry experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of market analysis/strategy development tools and methods
  • Familiar with the market research space
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and tell stories through data
  • Confidence with presenting to executive leadership team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Spanish or Portuguese language knowledge would be a plus.
