Your challenges

  • In this function you will be responsible for the independent project management including conception, planning, organization and coordination of European even
  • You will also be responsible for cost planning and control for the budget of the respective events and work closely with the regional marketing team and the global event management team
  • You will independently coordinate all external service providers (e.g. stand builders, trade fair companies, communication agencies, etc.) and act as the interface for internal stakeholders
  • You are responsible for the CI-conform conception and design of the exhibition stands
  • You keep track of new technologies, concepts and ideas for events/shows to ensure that traffic/customer engagement and innovation are driven forward
  • You will analyze event performance, including KPI development and evaluation with the goal of continuous improvement for future events, working closely with the Performance Marketing project manager
  • You will support the marketing team as a whole and contribute to marketing-wide activities and goals as needed

Your expertise

  • You have successfully completed a degree with relevant reference (e.g. event management, marketing management) or have completed a commercial apprenticeship (e.g. marketing communications)
  • You have already gained several years of experience in marketing and/or advertising and have worked in international, small and medium-sized teams
  • Ideally, you have experience in the life science sector
  • You have a very good command of English and ideally a very good knowledge of another European language as well as a high level of intercultural competence
  • You have experience in independent project work
  • You have good negotiating skills and cost awareness, you can think spatially and you like to work creatively
