10. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google“. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

We have activated the IP anonymization function. Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB. As an alternative to the browser plug-in, particularly for browsers of mobile devices, you can refuse the use of Google Analytics by clicking on the following Link. An opt-out cookie will be set on the computer, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. The opt-out cookie applies only in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again. We furthermore use Google Analytics to evaluate data from both double-click cookies and AdWords for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, you can deactivate this function by using the Ad Manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de).

We use Google Analytics including the features of Universal Analytics. Universal Analytics allows us to analyze the activities on our sites across devices (e.g. in cases of laptop access and later access on a tablet). This is enabled by the pseudonym assignment of a user ID to a user. Such an assignment occurs, for example, when you register for a customer account or register with your customer account. However, no personal data will be forwarded to Google. Adding additional features to Google Analytics with Universal Analytics does not mean that there is a limitation of data protection measures such as IP Masking or the browser add-on.

Our website employs components provided by facebook.com. Facebook is a service of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. Each time our website receives an access request equipped with a Facebook component, the component prompts your browser to download an image of this Facebook component. Through this process, Facebook is informed precisely which page of our website is being visited. When you access our site while logged into Facebook, Facebook uses information gathered by this component to identify the precise page you are viewing and associates this information to your personal account on Facebook. Whenever you click on the “Like“ button, for example, or enter a comment, this information is transmitted to your personal account on Facebook and stored there. In addition, Facebook is informed of your visit to our website. This occurs regardless of whether you click on a component or not. To this end, we use the “- enhanced data protection mode -” option provided by YouTube. When you display a page that has an embedded video, a connection will be made to the YouTube server and the content will appear on the website via a communication to your browser. According to the information provided by YouTube, in “- enhanced data protection mode -”, data is only transferred to the YouTube server, in particular which of our websites you have visited, if you watch the video. 13. Use of Google Remarketing
This site uses the remarketing feature of Google Inc. ("Google"). This function is used to present visitors to the website as part of the Google advertising network with interest-based advertising. For inter-device remarketing, your browsing history is linked to your Google Account, Google Analytics data, and a Google-authenticated ID.

By its own account, Google does not collect personal data during this process. However, if you do not want the Google remarketing feature, you can always disable it by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-related advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.  For more information about Google's remarketing and Google data protection, please visit http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.
