Your challenges

  • Close cooperation with eCommerce team within global eBusiness
  • Refer opportunities to eBusiness Sales Specialist for eProcurement / Punchout connections and Customer Specific Pricing in eShop
  • Prospect for new clients and opportunites (with new and existing clients) through high volume outbound calling
  • Drive product sales by focusing on geographic regions which are not covered by sales reps or by complementing Sales Rep efforts on targeted customers. Focus will vary geographically and be in line with the strategy defined by the Head of Inside Sales and eBusiness
  • Increase daily touch points with customers to better penetrate underperforming segments and gain access to locked down accounts
  • Follow up with existing customers to increase volume of low-cost items and provide improved customer service
  • Leverage use of CRM processes and data available to create repeat purchases, target new and existing customers and increase sales
  • Generate interest for consumables and sellable service by articulating competitive differentiators and Eppendorf value proposition
  • Emphasize the eShop as a purchasing channel
  • Refer opportunities to Sales Reps that cannot easily be sold over the phone or require personal visits to close
  • Receive customer referrals from Sales Reps that have purchased instruments which lend themselves to Consumables sales

Your expertise

  • Professional experience in the field of sales, preferably telesales, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Knowledge of the Eppendorf product portfolio or product portfolio of similar nature is considered an advantage
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English/ German language
  • Degrees in Life Sciences or related subjects are beneficial
