Your challenges

  • Become the subject matter expert for Cell and Gene Therapy segment customer applications as it relates to the current Eppendorf bioprocess portfolio, reinforcing our products and services competitive advantages
  • Be the internal expert for CGT aplications and provide training and support for sales team, help develop appropriate prospecting questions and related feature / benefits of the Eppendorf bioprocess portfolio that would benefit CGT customers
  • Provide consultation support for sales, help identifying target copanies, join sales activities with identified customers in the Cell and Gene Therapy market and act as expert for this segment
  • Perform joint applications calls with IFAS in both pre- and post-sales support activities
  • Develop and deliver in-person or virtual customer presentations to identified CGT customers to promote the Eppendorf portfolio as a solution to CGT customers and to broader audience on events
  • Collaborate with other CGT Specialists in different Eppendorf market regions or departments
  • Develop knowledge on CGT applications, -markets and collect customer needs and pain points; share with Commercial Team and Portfolio Solutions Team, act as ambassador of the market within Eppendorf BPU
  • Work with Product Life Cycle managers and other global functions, such as Portfolio, Marketing, etc. to better create alignment for the market region; collect and report progress in aligning Eppendorf Bioprocess solutions for the CGT market
  • Follow the developments in the CGT market and derive initiatives for sales from them

Your expertise

  • Strong Cell- & Gene Therapy industry & market knowledge
  • Strong knowledge in bioprocess technology
  • Good understanding of commercial processes in B2B business
  • Willingness to travel extensively and ability to understand and work in culturally different markets
  • Motivated by change; ability to drive and manage segment business with constant improvement intentions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to network effectively (internal and external) and establish effective working relationships
  • Results driven, good analytical capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of workflows and applications in life science research and development
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Outstanding and concise verbal and written communication in English
  • Good German language skills are an advantage
