Research on airway protective reflexes wins 2024 Eppendorf & Science Prize

The 2024 Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology has been awarded to Dr. Laura Seeholzer, Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, for her groundbreaking work on airway neuroendocrine cells. Her research sheds light on how these rare cells detect harmful stimuli, triggering protective reflexes like coughing and swallowing. Eppendorf and Science have recognized young neurobiologists since 2002, honoring scientists who push the boundaries of their field.

Dr. Christine Munz becomes CEO at Eppendorf
